Co-Founder Brad Stonberg oversees trading, research, tax and accounting as well as portfolio construction and management. He brings his deep understanding of capital markets, trading and his commitment to values-based investing to the firm.
Brad began a successful career as an options market maker on the floor of the American Stock Exchange in 1992. After meeting Andrew they formed an independent options market making trading firm, which Goldman Sachs acquired in 2000. Brad then established the first organic bakery in Portland, Oregon, where he worked for five years. He and Andrew joined forces again in 2008 to found Stakeholders Capital.
When not managing portfolios, Brad enjoys hiking, organic gardening, playing chess and relaxing with his wife and two sons.
He received his B.S. in business and finance from Boston University’s School of Management.
